October is our favourite month, not just because it’s autumn and the leaves are turning and it’s getting darker earlier. It’s also the month that ends on Halloween! What better way is there to celebrate this amazing, ancient day than indulging an evening scrolling though some truly moody, dark, and mysterious posts on Instagram.
OK, yes, creating a fantastic outfit and going out with friends is probably better. But on those nights when you can’t go out, the rain is falling, the air is cool, and mysterious sounds fill the air, Instagram is pretty good.

Christine Ward (@christine.c.w) is a photographer and tattoo artist who’s nature photography is on a completely different level. She captures beautiful, dark tones, moody atmospheres, and the distinct and majestic personalities of her animal subjects.
